Despite being in the direct path of hurricane helene and despite the entire ciry of Augusta, Georgia shutting down I was able to maintain connectivity. Every single person I spoke with throughout that week had no service. Ive been a Google Fiber and googleFi customer for many years because of the international cell and data coverage in over 140+ countries (without adding extra roaming charges to my bill). Once again they maintained their perfect service coverage when no one else had service. I was able to help everyone around me contact their loved ones and also maintained visibility of the storm recovery efforts in real time. Most providers are the same but google has been doing something different from day one. Huge kuddos. If you find yourself traveling overseas a lot or stuck in America in a hurricane, rest assured as long as there is a tower nearby, you will have service.
