🔎  Meet Professor Carsten Flohr, Director at GADA! 🔍 🌍 About: Professor Carsten Flohr holds the Chair in Dermatology and Population Health Science at King's College London. He is also a Consultant Dermatologist at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He trained at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, specializing in paediatrics and dermatology, and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. 💡 Research: Carsten’s research focuses on paediatric and population-based dermatology, particularly atopic dermatitis and its relationship with allergic diseases. He has led and co-led several high-impact studies, including the Enquiring About Tolerance (EAT) and TREAT trials. He currently serves as Chief Investigator for major projects like the UK-Irish A-STAR register, the Mind & Skin and EU-funded TRANS-FOODS consortia. Dr. Londoño Garcia is a dermatologist and expert in epidemiology and autoimmunity, serving as coordinator of the dermatology program at Universidad CES in Medellin. She is the scientific coordinator of CLIPSO and a councilor for the IEC and International Psoriasis Council. With 20 years of experience, she has published extensively on immune-mediated skin diseases.
