"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much" - Helen Keller Harvest House is so lucky to have strong strategic partnerships, and no partner has been stronger than M&T Bank! About us
Harvest House is an innovative, community-based organization with experience addressing challenges and barriers related to economic self-sufficiency, job connectivity, and equal access to resources. We have built a diverse team that is community-led, committed to social justice, and reflects the diversity and values of this community. Our holistic model focuses on all 12 social determinants of health as we help our clients fulfill their individualized life trajectories while honoring their own life experiences. We believe that this community is already self-actualized, with talent, skills, and purpose, but due to long-term disenfranchisement and marginalization they have been stifled. Through our model, we seek to be the wellspring that erodes the obstacles suppressing this actualization, so that our neighbors can flourish, increase self empowerment, their sense of community, and safety. Although we provide services that lead to meeting basic needs, our aim is to create an ecosystem in the community that equips members with the tools they need to thrive.

The #UnitedWay REALLY does care! The United Way Day of Caring - More than 2000 volunteers representing 76 Organizations completing more than 100 projects for local nonprofit organizations - over 8,000 hours of volunteer service in a single day! Harvest House had volunteers from Erie Niagara Area Health Education Center and from Great Lakes Integrated Network. They scraped paint on our building and helped with our Food as Medicine program. Great team of people! Thank you so much for your time! #DOC24 #UWBECDayofCaring #volunteers #HarvestHouseBuffalo #Foodasmedicine
