Joanna Patterson, Sr. Director, Legal and Global President of the Veterans at Expedia Group IBG, recently traveled to North Vietnam for a 100 km hike through the Hoa Binh Province to raise £100,000 for SSAFA, a UK military charity. Joanna was joined by a diverse group of participants- from individuals currently serving to veterans to reservists, all united in their mission to give back. They braved the mountainous terrain and river crossings, but it was the laughter and camaraderie that kept them going. Before taking on this challenge, Joanna made the most of our travel perks with a stay in the Hanoi Le Jardin Hotel & Spa, using the employee discount and travel reimbursement benefit. âVeterans Day is a day where I take the opportunity to reflect on my experiences in the military. Looking at the person I was when I joined, and my growth and transformation throughout my military career. It has turned me into the person I am today, and Iâll always be grateful for that.â We caught up with Brad Breton, Talent Sourcer, based in Munich Germany, about his experience joining a corporate setting at Expedia Group, after spending 9 years in the U.S. Navy. Read how the EG Veterans community and IBG helped him to take on this new experience. â¡ï¸ https://bit.ly/4fG3Vwi #VeteransDay #LifeAtExpediaGroup
