Last night we held our first-ever public pitch night for our social innovations grant finalists! The room was packed, and our audience was able to award $25,000 in additional grants to deserving organizations after hearing passionate presentations. 🌟 Empower-ED’s September Impact 🌟 This past month, September 2024, has been full of meaningful engagements as we continue to support Empower-ED Cooperation scholars on their academic and career journeys! Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished: 📍 KIPP University Preparatory – Provided personalized advising to over 10 scholars, helping them navigate their future goals. 📍 Nathan Hale – Hosted a dynamic workshop for more than 15 scholars, guiding them through important steps for college and career readiness. 📍 Jenks – Engaged with 6 scholars in targeted workshops to support their post-secondary planning. 📍 Tulsa Honor Academy – Delivered an impactful workshop for 15 scholars, providing key insights into career pathways. 📍 Y at East Central – Hosted our September workshop with an enthusiastic group, further strengthening our commitment to empowering youth.
