Hey Bronxites, it's time to get our summonses corrected! Open summonses can make it difficult for a property owner to obtain a mortgage from a bank, obtain homeowners insurance, and it can make it difficult to sell their property. A clean bill of health for your property can help you avoid these headaches. That's why we want to help you get your summonses corrected. On November 13 DOBâs Administrative Enforcement Unit (AEU) will be setting up shop in Community Board 12âs office at 4101 White Plains Road, BX, to offer 1-on-1 assistance to any Bronx property owner that needs help resolving their open DOB-issued violations. The event features a special panel discussion from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. and will offer Certificate of Correction review from 3 p.m. â 7 p.m. Just stop on by and say you are there to "Get Summonses Corrected." Visit nyc.gov /aeu-coc to learn more about certifying correction and nyc.gov /dobevents for more information on GSC events.
