In our 2024 tech hiring survey, we asked recruiters whether they considered it cheating if a candidate used AI during a technical test or coding interview. 𤷠Almost half (48%) said it depended on when and how it is used by the candidates. ð« Almost a quarter (23%) considered it cheating. ð One fifth (20%) said they were okay with candidates using it. â 8% encourage it.
