The Black Feminist Guide to the Human Body Sep 19 - Oct 6, 2024 Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture "Let the beautiful, sad, joyous women in your life feast on this wisdom." Directed by Margo Hall, this daring celebration of life and the resilience of Black women marks Lisa B. Thompson's triumphant return to the Bay Area in a rolling world premiere about the joys and challenges of growing older and wiser. This acclaimed new work, which concludes its first-ever national tour next month in San Francisco, follows an older Black woman professor who encounters herself as she moves through time and memory to explore and honor the uniqueness of Black womanhood. Thompson's new play is not only a joyous, raucous, and spiritual event but also a love letter to Black women and their families, who know that, in spite of it all, we are still here.

CMC recently conducted another volunteer training, and we are pleased to announce that we have recruited over 150 volunteers. Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the services we provide to women with cancer. Since 1985, National Relaxation Day has been held annually on August 15th in the USA. It was founded by Sean Moeller in 1985 when he was in the fourth grade. It's a day dedicated to self-care and taking moments to relax. Share below what you do to relax.

The bond between parents and their sons and daughters is very special, enduring age and distance. Having family and a support network while going through the cancer journey is crucial.
