Today is a beautiful reminder of the difference kindness makes—transforming not just individuals but entire communities and our world. It’s a call for us all to be intentional with our kindness, to spread compassion, and to lift others with genuine generosity. In the spirit of Word Kindness Day 2024, I want to extend my deepest thanks to Mallory Mbalia and everyone at Fred Rogers Productions. Their dedication to kindness and compassion, building on the legacy of Mr. Rogers and creating a vision for the future, is truly inspiring. Recently, I had the privilege of speaking at their annual "Back To School" event—a day full of encouragement and warmth. Reflecting on the impact Mr. Rogers had on my own childhood, I felt a renewed belief in the power of kindness, especially in today’s challenging times.
