Indigenous communities experience significant healthcare disparities. These disparities often result in higher rates of illness, disability, and shorter life expectancies for Indigenous individuals. This is why Capital Impact Partners is proud to support Native American Health Center's latest health care center. Supported by New Markets Tax Credits, this project enabled the construction of a 14,000-square-foot health and cultural center in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland, CA. The cultural center will host gatherings and provide services rooted in Native American traditions.
