Cette déclaration appelle à “un modèle de développement féministe et intersectionnel qui fasse entendre la voix des femmes, des filles et des personnes de genre divers dans la détermination des indicateurs de mesure du développement mondial. La justice reproductive et l'autonomie corporelle pour tous·tes sont essentielles à un tel modèle de développement ; la capacité des personnes marginalisées à exercer un contrôle sur leur vie reproductive leur permet de participer pleinement à la vie sociale, culturelle et politique. L'accès universel à un avortement sûr et légal est fondamental à cet égard”. MARIJÀN soutient fermement l’idée selon laquelle l’avortement doit être accessible à toutes les femmes ; ces dernières doivent être libres de procéder à cette opération si elles le souhaitent ; Le service d’avortement doit être fourni légalement et gratuitement.
