16 Tech welcomed Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) to Indianapolis at the end of October. The research funding agency supports transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs â ranging from the molecular to the societal â to provide health solutions for all. Dr. Renee Wegrzyn, Director of ARPA-H, and ARPA-H staff members spent two days engaging with Indianaâs life sciences ecosystem. Their agenda included tours of Eli Lilly and Company, Indiana University Health and the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute, conversations with key research stakeholders including Purdue University and Indiana University Bloomington, and a press conference with Senator Todd Young announcing $44M in funding to 34 Lives, an Indiana company transforming the kidney transplant process.  As a spoke of the ARPA-H Investor Catalyst Hub, 16 Tech hosted a full-day of meeting for startups, innovators and researchers to connect with ARPA-H Scalable Solutions Office (SSO) to understand how to breakdown barriers to scaling groundbreaking technologies and take advantage of additional resources.  Curious about doing business with ARPA-H?
