Yeah, so, about this - I could care less what other photographers do - that's their business, and that's what makes this community so magical. You put 10 photographers in a room to shoot the same exact thing, and you will get 10 different types of photos. It's a magical opportunity for those who need a professional photographer to find the right shooter that aligns with their style and aesthetics, too. Long story short, ignore someone who tells you to "conform to prevailing photography styles." Instead, lean into your creative inclinations, be consistent with it, talk about how your work has helped those you serve, share their takeaways with your audience, and ignore all the crap that you're hearing. Run your own race.

As I have a distinct photographic style, I do not undertake projects that require a different aesthetic. Therefore, clients should seek a photographer whose style aligns with their vision. If I were to comply with a client's request for a style that is foreign to me, it would be akin to a form of artistic compromise that I cannot condone.

When urged to conform to prevailing photography styles, maintain your unique artistic vision by staying true to your creative strengths while remaining adaptable. Embrace trends that complement your style without compromising your core identity. Focus on what sets your work apartâyour distinct perspective, technique, or storytelling. Incorporate modern elements as subtle enhancements rather than complete shifts in direction. Communicate your vision confidently to clients, explaining how your unique approach delivers lasting impact. By blending authenticity with flexibility, you can stay relevant while preserving the originality that defines your brand. For distinctive, trend-aligned photography, visit leepitts.pics!

As a photographer, balancing industry trends with my personal style involves staying true to my artistic vision while being aware of current demands. I educate my audience through my portfolio and social media, showcasing the value of my unique approach. By selectively collaborating with clients who appreciate and respect my perspective, I ensure that my style remains a priority. I continually experiment with new techniques, not to follow trends but to evolve my craft in ways that enhance my creativity. This balance allows me to stay relevant without compromising the essence of my work.
