Once the model is chosen to wear the particular garment/outfit, you should take a picture of the model in the garment/outfit and label the image with the information on the back (or you can place on another card on the back of the image). On the day of the show, you should have the image in front of the garment/outfit. Double check to make sure there are no marks, no loose threads, etc. This will make the fittings run smoothly, especially on the day of the fashion show.

The best way is to finalise and lock the models. Once done, plan and align outfits for each models and then call them for trial. That's where you can any loopholes in the outfit. And this should be done ag least 2 days prior to the fashion show.

Best Possible way to streamline fittings is to pre plan the fittings and garments label them once final fittings are done label them with line of order and models name and have a key word for design and maintain a sheet which the coordinators are aware , while doing my own show i made a excel document with pics and details and status and handed over to assistant's

However in preparation for those selections it’s important organize garments in a way that show priority to the concept and vision of the show, the size and potentially some specific measurements of the garment to more easily match them to the models
