Dont just assume people will understand your jargon on your CV/resume. Try to write out the full version followed by the abbreviation to help recruiters understand.

Simple, don’t use jargon. It’s no different than acronyms, they limit understanding to the three audiences you must appeal to: the AI - keyword screener, Human Resources and the Hiring Manager.

My suggestion may feel a bit old school, but it couldn't be more up-to-date. If you are targeting a role in your current industry, then unless your jargon is company-specific, it should be recognisable, so use the jargon... ...but add the term in full in brackets - ⬇️ CPA [Certified Public Accountant] If you do this, your CV becomes more visible. A vacancy poster may use the acronym and/or the full term in their job spec. So, if you decide to only use an acronym, or the full term, it may weaken your CV. Sector- and role-specific keywords must be a part of your CV recipe so that you are visible in candidate searches and AI matching.
