The most profound focus area is to get the team to REALLY BELIEVE in the purpose and existence of the organisation. Projects will then make sense to the team and self motivation kicks in. Only a clear understanding of the greater good that the organisation contributes to gives perpetual energy to companies, the teams in the company and thus the team members. Its exciting to see our staff flourish in CMO, while we are on tight budgets and right at the beginning of the scaling hockey stick.

Tight deadlines are where resilience meets creativity. At StrategyWerks, I believe in leading with a mix of strategy and empathy. Here's my approach: 1ï¸â£ Clarity Over Chaos: I ensure the team has a clear roadmap with prioritized tasksâwhen everyone knows their role, pressure feels more manageable. 2ï¸â£ Energy Boosters: Quick wins deserve quick celebrations. Whether it's a shoutout or a 5-minute unwind session, small gestures go a long way. 3ï¸â£ Lead by Listening: Sometimes, the best motivation is simply lending an ear. Understanding challenges helps me tailor support where it's most needed. Deadlines test leadership, but morale sustains it.

To keep morale high under tight deadlines, I focus on clear communication, breaking tasks into manageable steps, and setting realistic priorities. I acknowledge individual contributions, celebrate small wins, and maintain a supportive environment by being approachable and solution-focused. Regular check-ins ensure alignment, while encouraging short breaks and recognizing the teamâs efforts help sustain motivation and energy.
