This is why you start, without a doubt. When you decide to be an entrepreneur, you need to know why. Why are you going to start something instead of joining the best startup in the area? Why start this and nothing else? You will need to focus on this specific project to be successful, so only this matters. Passion and Purpose is the beginning of your journey.

My passion for entrepreneurship comes from finding a fascinating problem to solve, the diversity of skills that will be necessary and the absence of routine. When I can create value for my team, customers, users, investors, doing what I think is right and discovering new things everyday, I do not feel like it is work anymore. I am even looking forward to it being a challenge and the sense of achievement a team can feel when reaching ambitious objectives.

Life as an entrepreneur, especially in the first couple of years, could be extremely difficult. There are high highs and low lows. There are times when you will question why you are taking this route and if it’s ever going to become what you want it to. That’s where passion comes into play. You can always tune into your passion to help you with your branding, storytelling, copywriting, and everything else that represents you and your business. Passion is what draws the right people to want to learn from or work with you. It is what makes you likeable, relatable, and interesting. But by continually keeping passion and purpose at the forefront, you can position everyone involved to work together to achieve the best results possible.

Three startups in. 4 children launched into the world. Moms, (and would be moms), don't underestimate the flexibility that launching your own business can provide. Yes, you will work harder and have anxiety levels you might not have in Corporate America. But, you can also control how you work, when you work and the timing of the sacrifices you make to be successful.

Freedom comes at a price. You have no one to obey except yourself and this is more difficult than people realize. However, if you can master this freedom and autonomy, you can unlock one of the greatest secrets of life. This alone is worth pursuing entrepreneurship.

Absolutely, the flexibility and autonomy entrepreneurship offers are incredibly appealing. The ability to set my own schedule, work from anywhere, and choose projects that align with my interests is motivating. This freedom allows me to experiment with new ideas and adapt to changing market conditions. While it can be challenging to manage my own time effectively, the opportunity to take ownership and build something from the ground up is very rewarding.

You can see the flexibility of entrepreneurship two ways. One is that you will be the master of your schedule. The other, that seems more realistic, is that your customers and your team will require constant attention, and you will be serving them the best you can, accomodating their needs constantly. You are autonomous on "how" you will adapt to situations, but rarely autonomous on "when": important and urgent matters will appear, and require the entrepreneur to act or provide guidance, often on the spot, with limited time.

Yes and no. I was meeting someone for a midday mountain biking session, and they asked how I managed to take time away from my businesses. Firstly, I have people I trust. Secondly, I'm never truly away. While you may have unconventional hours, which others might see as free time, you also experience sleepless nights. It's a paradox of never working yet always working. It's a good life that offers freedom, but it's not an easy one.

The Risk is definitely high and the (financial)Rewards are also high if succeeded. But there is a high chance of failure given the uncertainty around market conditions, timing, competition, reach etc... However, the choice is mainly driven by passion not calculation. In my POV, the rewards in terms of knowledge you gain, the experiences you have, the lessons you learn makes one strong and resilient. These life lessons yield benefits through out your life.

Entrepreneurship is not a job, its a life style. Life style that comes with its share of ups and downs. Ownership mentality is key to feeling at home. You dont work for a pay check anymore, you work for intangibles. There maybe a pot of gold at the end of the arduous journey for some entrepreneurs. But thats just a byproduct (a very rewarding outcome) and cant be the sole driver or the reason to do it.

But being an entrepreneur isn’t just about the tough times. It’s about being strong and keeping a positive attitude, even when things get tough. And when things do go well, the rewards can be much bigger than if you worked for someone else.

My advice to budding entrepreneurs is consider partnering. It’s usually a very long and sometimes lonely journey and having partner will not only make it easier but actually more fun. Do 50% of the work for 50% of the pot of gold is still a great deal 😉

Anyone who tells you that the job of an entrepreneur is anything other than "solving random problems you aren't trained or otherwise qualified to solve" is wrong. That's what being an entrepreneur is. Being called upon to solve problems you could never have guessed even existed. If you're the kind of person who thrives in a closed loop system or can't operate without a net below you, being an entrepreneur is not for you. It's scary. It's expensive. It will keep you awake at night. But when you succeed... there is no substitute for the feeling you will have earned.

The only thing you should consider before starting to call yourself an entrepreneur is: "Do you want to bring a change hence getting into it?" As I always mention, it isn't a career to be an entrepreneur but a lifestyle. If you want to change the way you work, look at the world, and provide solutions that make sense and are feasible, then you should get started with entrepreneurship. There are things you will have to do to make your passions and dreams a reality. You need to create solutions that work. You should consider this before you take a step towards entrepreneurship.

The perspective I enjoyed is the growth mindset that keep me alive if I am into entrepreneurship. It keep you at the right pace in the marathon of life if enlightened with a purpose a goal which keep you awakening always towards the betterment for a vision you have it has risk with the rewards if you take it calculated one and for sure it is profitable if you keep on investing in learning and development.
