A few things I've found helpful is get out in nature. For me going walking in the mornings while it's quiet, allows my brain to wander. Another thing is doing some kind of exercise to get some energy moving. I do a lot of martial arts, for me its a meditative, and allows me to find solutions and connect the dots on ideas.

In my experience, it is important to remember creativity lives within you because of your unique thought process. Your environment is what fuels your thought process. If you experience creative blocks, I recommend changing your routine: > Work in a new location for a day or two > Take a new route to work in the morning while listening to music you haven't heard in a while > Wear attire that makes you feel confident, like a nice suit or business dress > And exercise / sweat to reset your brain If you work in corporate, its easy to mesh creativity with efficiency - but even the most creative people cannot produce top ideas on the fly every day. Ideas bloom when your mind is stimulated - switch it up, relax and watch the magic happen!

Engage with art, nature, or activities that challenge you. Write daily, even if it's nonsense. Connect with fellow creatives; their journeys can spark ideas in you. Creativity thrives on constraints. Use your block as a stepping stone, not a stumbling block. It is very important to know and always remember that Inspiration is a by-product of doing.

I have found writing all that I need to get done very helpful. I make a list of everything, and once each task is done I mark it off the list. This helps me feel better about myself and stay away from thoughts that 'I am not doing enough'. Even when I have not ticked off a specific item off the list, at least I can look at all the other small achievements and not beat myself up about that one thing. Not everything will get done at the time I want because life happens sometimes, but what matters is that it will get done, eventually.

Rearranging my room has always helped me with my creativity and getting work done. Having a different looking and positioned work station can be very exciting, you feel like you are in a new place. Plus you get excited to get some work done. Sometimes spending time in nature can be great inspiration, you get to tap into different dimensions of your creativity.

Find a new lens or framework to look through- there are so many out there- spending time to find a few will aid in creating a new angle, a new perspective and new thoughts. Particularly seek out frameworks that are not necessarily linked to the challenge you are facing and from different disciplines

Your creative block is there for a reason. Try to connect playfully but profoundly with it, in order to learn from it. E.g. Visualise it: if it were a creature, what would it look like, sound like, act like? Write out an imaginary dialogue with it: what does it want you to know? What does it need from you? Draw it, choose or create a piece of music that resonates with it. Turn the block itself into creative inspiration. This will give you a source of play that can bring you back into creative flow - and might also teach you something about what is holding you back.

Exercise. Get out of your head Get out the office and your environment and exercise and forget about it all. Allow your mind to relax. It’s in that moment you should reconnect with what you need to get what you need done.

Creative block is self-imposed. So that means there is no such thing. Ask yourself this question, “what do I want to be doing instead of being stuck in this hell?” Go and do that. And give it your 100% attention. Then do another thing that is truly valuable to you, such as walking your dog, reading a book, or having a good conversation with a friend. Do anything that makes you joyful, and before you know it, the idea or ideas will flow to you naturally. You must play as an adult in order to be creative. Be curious. Keep a small notepad in your back pocket so that you can draw, doodle, or write down what you observe. Observe everything and find the beauty in it. This is your solution.
