No advice, just a story. One day a monkey came upon a large glass jar. It was deep, round with a long, narrow neck. Inside was a beautiful ripe, red apple. He had to have it. It was a little tight at the neck, but he soon grasped it tightly. He tugged his arm, only it wouldn't budge. The neck was too narrow for his hand AND the apple to come through. He struggled to get his prize, to no avail. This story has two endings- the monkey leaves in frustration or dies of starvation still grasping the apple. Thus realising the need for scaling and taking appropriate steps to enhance productivity of the existing staff should be the way forward. Onboarding more people is generally the instict but one should take that as a next step

Im not a big fan of diversifying. If the problem statement is good enough & you have garnered a set of loyal customers, then the next step forward would be to understand the requirements of the users who are not using your product or left the product for some reasons. Catering to those users and then Pivoting to a degree to get the new set of users is fine. However, diversifying means going through all the loops of product fit, market analysis etc & also to ensure that your existing customers dont suffer due to this new startegy so as to impact your core business.

Many startups have great ideas and during their journey they find more ideas and opportunities for their products. It is absolute important for startups to stay focused and not get distracted with too many ideas /business cases. Focus on the most promising one and put all your energy into that to get it flying.
