My focus is more on taking aligned action then setting goals. I feel like goals can sometimes create unneeded stress. Life happens in between work sessions. What's more important to you? Meeting your goals or living your life? (Opportunities show up. Emergencies happen.) It's easy to get stuck in regrets or resentments if you set a goal to reach within a specific time frame. I truly believe everything happens in ITS time, not yours. (as you align yourself and your energies)

I would agree that action is key, however, having goals or what you are after is key. Just taking action without an end goal is like driving without a map. With goals you have to understand that life does happen and give yourself grace on the journey. The other part is getting back up after a setback or detour. That being said, for some getting focused on a goal can be hard when you don't believe in yourself. You must believe in you to hit your dreams! A coach for sure can get you there.

Importance of setting goals is christal clear, can you believe that: "I'm going to a trip but I don't know where I want go". Thus; Whenever anyone can get out from home without knowing where want to go, you can run business without goal.

The key to this is having a full understanding of what's really important to you to feel successful in your endeavor. By knowing where you're going, you an decide the path you want to take to get there. Which modalities work better for you? Do you listen to podcasts while working out or in the car? Do you prefer to read over watching a talking head video? Do you prefer the "talking head" videos because you can see who you're listening to? The problem with "collecting your own resources" without having this conversation is that you may choose the cheapest modality that doesn't fit you. The focus is YOU, on bettering yourself. Not on the money you're investing in yourself (what you're giving up, instead of what you'll gain)

When you know and are excited about where you're going, paths will reveal themselves to you. You'll meet people to talk to. Apps will show up in your emails to try. Allow yourself time to fall down a rabbit hole. The Universe will guide you. What feels good, do it. What doesn't, set it aside and get back to it later (maybe). The question to ask yourself in a moment when you're doubting yourself is, "will I later be happy with what I did with this moment, or will I regret staying stuck?" or something like that.

Taking action on what you learn is what makes knowledge powerful. Without action, knowledge is just knowledge. To many get stuck in learning due to fears. A coach helps push you past your fears.

It's important to talk about the progress AND the challenges. A coach can offer you a different perspective on your challenges, make them feel less challenging. An effective coach (from my experience) will question when you change your mind. Not to cause doubt, but to help you challenge your fears. I don't offer "you should"s, I offer what I would do in their situation and why (if I'm asked). A coach offers regular check-ins to check your progress, reminding you of goals you set and promises you made yourself. Not to induce guilt, but to work through what's halting your follow-thru. To help you forgive yourself when you feel behind in reaching the goals you set for yourself, reminding you of how everything happens in ITS time, not yours

The quality of your successful reviews sometimes can be impacted by the level of rapport you built with your coach. This is the most amazing part I used to look forward in coaching.

By acknowledging how they helped you grow, you are helping them grow. You're returning the favor and sharing the love you've just learned for yourself, your path and your life. I tap into their expertise: Coaches often bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in various aspects of business. I take advantage of their expertise by seeking guidance on specific topics like marketing, sales strategies, financial planning, or team management.

Success leaves clues I have had a mentor/coach consistently over the last 20 years. Usually for a 2-4year period. I’ve worked with the most amazing people and they have all had direct success in what I am concentrating at the time on creating or they have coached people who have. Knowing they have navigated the way get apply a unique perspective on my situation has allowed me to build two successful companies and now building a third. Funnily enough in the last one and this one I’ve been asked to step up and mentor as well. I can’t believe what an incredible humbling experience to go on the journey with another and see their dreams become reality.

Although I mentor many people I also work with a coach. Besides the obvious benefits such as having someone evaluate my work & contribute ideas, the most critical factor of a coach for me is accountability. Don’t work with just anyone, Find a coach who is more successful in your field than you are. Interview several before you commit.
