Excellence and committment of employees should be based entirely on merit, not any other factor such as race. The Supreme Court has no struck down affirmative action which gives racial bias to one race over others. This decision was a long time coming and removes a gross injustice. This decision should be practiced in industry as well.

Create a diversity and inclusion committee. Make it a top-down commitment. The CEO and other senior leaders should be visible champions of diversity and inclusion. Be intentional about your efforts.
