Usually Quality Policies are full of jargons. Real strength of quality policy lies not in mere beautifully assembled words but in embodiment of commitment in processes. To measure the strength of quality system evaluate what measures do a company take to ensure that commitments made in Quality Policy are reflected in processes.

Management commitment: Assess the level of commitment from leadership towards quality. Do they have a clearly defined quality policy? Are quality goals integrated into strategic planning? Process orientation: Evaluate the company's focus on process improvement. Do they have documented procedures for key processes? Do they use methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean? Customer focus: Assess how the company gathers and integrates customer feedback into its QM program. Do they have mechanisms to measure customer satisfaction Employee engagement: Evaluate the level of employee engagement in the QM program. Are employees trained in quality principles? Do they have opportunities to participate in improvement initiatives?

As per ISO 9001, Quality Management Policy shall maintain by the organisation to help us in determine our purpose, strategic decision, objectives, satisfy applicable requirements and promotes a commitment in continual improvement. It should be communicated, available and understood by all employee to make the implementation much easier. But aside from formulating and communicating of QM policy, the organisation needs to review this. Regular review allow an organisation to assess the effectiveness and identify areas for improvement to ensure that the policy aligns with evolving business goals and standards.

Other problems I recieved is that companies saw or got hold of another's system and they start to copy and past. Changing some aspects and wording. A mock or evaluation on the company for assistance will be able to assist them and make the realize the problems an non essential stuff placed into there documents.

Para evaluar los proceos de la gestión de la calidad, cada organización debe disponer de un panel de indicadores (KPI's) que le permita llevar a cabo este análisis y tomar decisiones. El círculo de Deming es una herramienta ampliamente utilizada para implantar un sistema de mejora continua en materia de calidad, tanto en procesos como productos/servicios de una organización. Para seguir este modelo, hay que realizar cuatro pasos: planificar, hacer, verificar y actuar (plan, do, check and act, por sus siglas en inglés). Ventajas: mejora continua, aumento de la productividad, competitividad y se puede aplicar de forma ilimitada. Principal desventaja: no permite una resolución rápida de problemas.

The Quality Management process needs to establish, documented, maintain and continually improve to help the organisation grows. This is not limited to input-output but also the sequence and interaction of processes. Evaluating the QM process is a must to identify areas for improvement, process needs to control, and mitigate the risks. Evaluating allows the organisation to refine procedures, enhance efficiency and adapt changes.

To promote continuous improvement, analysing the QM result needs to implement especially but not limited to customer satisfaction, quality objectives if met, process performance, non conformity, audit results and performance of external provider. Evaluating those factors give us an insight of the management system, lapses and bottlenecks. Aside from that it will give us a data driven decision-making ensuring customer satisfaction while complying with standards.

Collect results data consistently and systematically from various sources such as customer feedback, product/service performance, and process indicators. En mi opinión, esta es la clave de la evaluación y/o comparación de cualquier sistema de gestión, no solo de calidad o seguridad alimentaria. Conviene asegurar muy bien, cómo se calculan y qué miden, para asegurar que son realmente comparables con los de otro sistema. Es recomendable elegir una gama de indicadores representativos de los aspectos principales: A) calidad del producto resultante (por ejemplo organoléptica). B) Sostenibilidad o ineficiencias: residuos generados, costes de no calidad, huella de agua, o de carbono. C) Detecciones de metales y cuerpos extraños en general. Aquí podemos evaluar también fallos en los PCC’s

Assess whether the collected data provides meaningful insights into the company's performance against quality objectives and if corrective actions are promptly taken when needed.

No hay mejora posible si no es a través del análisis de los resultados del sistema de gestión, es por ello que la organización deben establecer mecanismo que permitan, no sólo la recopilación de datos, sino el intercambio de ideas para el análisis de los mismos y la toma de decisiones. ¿Y qué contra qué criterios se pueden analizar y evaluar estos resultados? Sin duda alguna deben estar ligados con los objetivos de la calidad y las metas de los propios procesos dentro del sistema, esto es lo que nos va ayudar a identificar el éxito de los resultados.

When we say quality management then it talks about the entire organisation's system. Which covers all the levels of documentation like, Level 1 - Policy and Objective Level 2 - Processes Level 3 - Work instructions Level 4 - Formats and records. To check the sustenance of the quality management we can have a systematic audit approach, Management review programs, KPI monitoring mechanisms, certification audits etc. Audits can be prioritised based on the processes KPIs performance. Based on the overall performance the results can be mentioned with Red, Yellow and Green categories. You can select the right audit and allocate more time for the non performing or red category of processes.

Quality Management System implementation should ideally reflect in the performance results of the Organization.. Besides Process Performance Parameters , KPIs, some other measurements that help in understanding state of Business. Important indicators are as under: a) By Enquiring Employees randomly during an audit if he knew the Quality Policy. (b) Look at the CSAT, NPS score trend discuss the same with the department Manager and review the root cause analysis for complaints and Corrective actions taken. (c) Whether the Risk Assessment is being periodically carried out. (d) Internal Audit Report; Corrective Action .

How well a company is able to capture, QUANTIFY and analyse their Quality Objectives is a good measure of how well the QMS is established and integrated. The actions taken upon these analysis and findings is a add-on positive from management end and a good indicator of leadership's involvement.
