The electrical utility industry, "the company" side has always resonated with me because I am a military brat. Doesn't matter if you work the mail room, or the control center or vegetation management, or you are a contractor hired by "the company". If anybody is unhappy, the company will fail. Similarly, if the chow hall sucks, the base is unhappy. If the motor pool has a tool for a senior NCO, the Wing Commander's car isn't going to work one day and that senior NCO will be moved to someplace he will be happier, wherever that is.
