Second, understand that there is no evil robot kicking out your resume. Itâs a human. A person, who, if you havenât spent the time dialing in your resume, might not see your value. How do you do this without making yourself crazy? 1. Write a headline you can target to the role. 2. Showcase your biggest technical skills in the summary and align them to the role. 3. It's always advisable to have a listing of key competencies underneath your value proposition that can easily be changed depending upon the role that you're responding to. Simple way to do this is just make a 3 x 3 matrix and change those key competencies as you see fit.
