It's quite natural when you start off in a business, specifically service sector. When you realise that the shift is happening where you and team is putting major time into it but returns are not great, the simplest approach is call them up at the end of the service term and advice them not to renew it as you are planning to shut that division of business. Man it doesn't have to cost you your peace, as an Entrepreneur you have a lot important things to solve and not just answering your clients call. Now once you are out, draft a complete contract which clearly sets boundaries, convey while discussing your proposal to new clients. Just share your email id and office number where they can call and ask to connect, but no direct numbers
