Instead, I get everyone talking, and then I listen - really listen - for the underlying motivations and values that drive their perspectives. I have discovered over the years, that when you have a large group of people together, and a solution needs to be arrived at, there would be some great ideas that come out of a collaborative session, from this session, alternative options and ideas always come out and it's through this that we come up with the best to implement, a process of elimination if you will.
