Contrary to popular belief, your job as a coach is NOT to convince or persuade your clients to take the leap or embrace change. If you do, you are part of the problem rather than the solution.
Your job as a coach is to support your client in identifying the root of their resistance, to connect them to the true desire within their goals / dreams / visions, and then give them a judgement free space from where they make their own choice on whether to take the leap or not.
Coaching is the realm of the Self : Self-motivation, self-empowerment, self-leadership.
When coaches start choosing what's best FOR their clients, and then try to motivate them or persuade them, they are no longer coaching.

When clients hesitate to make life changes, itâs often driven by fear of the unknown. As a coach, I encourage them to focus on the potential growth rather than the risks. I remind them that small steps can lead to big transformations. Itâs crucial to visualize the benefits and understand that change is an opportunity for growth, not a threat. By creating a supportive environment and setting achievable milestones, clients feel empowered to embrace the journey. Ultimately, change is a leap of faith, but one that opens doors to new possibilities and fulfillment.

Have them evaluate whether it's going to hurt them more if they take action or hurt them more if they don't.
More than likely, making positive changes in life is going to make things much easier and more satisfying in the future.
Once that clicks, it should be easier for your client to start seeing the benefits of making simple life changes.

I don't mean to sound like the broken record of LinkedIn, but the answer is in the stories and testimonials of prior clients AND the volume of research I rely on!
