All the three steps mentioned here are important. However, most of the responsibility can be shown in Project co-ordination- where project objectives, plans, timelines etc are shared well with the team. Monitoring plans then becomes easy. Only planning will not make sense if the teams aren't coordinated well amongst each other. Fantastic planning and beautiful execution is what makes any project a successful endeavour.

O planejador de obras, falo de experiência própria, deve ser o profissional mais antenado possível, estar ligado nos fluxos de documentos, liberações, avanço de cronograma, realizado vs planejado, tomas de decisões cruciais para o sucesso da obra. Além de tudo ter o planejamento constante de fluxo de suprimentos que ao meu ver é o elo entre o sucesso e fracasso, sem suprimentos a obra não avança, uma logística adequada, cruzando dados de cronograma com avanço e disponibilidade de armazenagem em canteiro são as variáveis. Em fim, planejador nato, não pode se acomodar que aferir dados, e corrigir o curso. Planejamento executado com calma e profissionalismo, sucesso garantindo do projeto, e alinhamento da expectativas do projeto vs realidade.

É fundamental um planejador de obras ter todo esse conhecimento técnico. Mas costumo sempre enfatizar a necessidade de ter uma vivência de obras!! Nada substitui! Seu olhar é diferenciado, principalmente porque construção os gargalos são muito similares, então com a vivencia de pelo menos 1 ciclo de obra, muda completamente sua percepção de execução e planejamento e a forma de tratar os gaps!

Todas as habilidade técnicas são muito importantes: 1. Conhecimento dos frameworks de gestão de projetos; 2. Operar ao menos um software de planejamento (MS Project/Primavera P6); 3. Lidar bem com planilhas; Porém, nada mais importante que ser um bom comunicador, afinal, para empreendimentos multidisciplinares o planejador precisa lidar com a mais variada gama de pessoas para extrair dali as informações necessárias para alimentar o cronograma, curva S, reports, relatórios, entre outros. E isso é até possível sem conhecer aquele tipo de empreendimento: obra, site, logística, vendas, lançamento de produtos, entre outros; mas sem se comunicar com o time, é impossível.

Um planejador de obras precisa ter forte conhecimento em gestão de projetos, habilidade em criar e interpretar cronogramas, e capacidade de resolver problemas rapidamente. Ele deve ser organizado, detalhista e bom em comunicação, já que precisa coordenar equipes e negociar com fornecedores. Qualificações importantes incluem formação em Engenharia, Arquitetura ou áreas relacionadas, além de experiência prática em obras e domínio de ferramentas de planejamento, como MS Project ou Primavera.

Lembrando que essas são diretrizes gerais, e a importância de cada competência pode variar com base na natureza específica do projeto e da empresa. Destacar experiências práticas e conquistas em projetos anteriores pode fortalecer a apresentação das competências em um currículo.

They work hand in hand with the execution team. I find the assurance of material , information , to support work packages is one of their prime responsibilities. Tracking progress , to validate that schedule expections on earned progress is on track, or help give input to recovery plans. Construction planners are invaluable when working within the execution team. When separated from daily construction interfaces, they become trailing indicators and report generators greatly reducing their value.

At project completion, the planner compiles data comparing the original plan with actual outcomes. This analysis is often overlooked but is critical for identifying successes and areas for improvement.
