Por este motivo, pienso que al evaluar por competencias cada equipo de trabajo y descubrir las debilidades, este análisis nos lleva al punto trabajar en las debilidades y al mismo tiempo, reforzar lo que ya es conocido.

One of the most difficult activity yo do is safety. It should be easy to get for long time, but it seems to be alien to us. Continuous training is key to impress this awareness in our minds. The only issue is the cost due to this kind of training is costly, but necessary to preserve the life of the personnel.

Es fundamental que la seguridad sea parte fundamental de la cultura y valores empresariales. Cada trabajador debe tener la convicción que el liderazgo y compromiso en seguridad va de arriba hacia abajo en la estructura de la empresa y grupos de interés (Socios y contratistas) y que es una iniciativa irrenunciable de tiempo completo. Treinamento é muito importante para que a força de trabalho saiba como agir na hora de um sinistro, mas reforçar a cultura de segurança é fundamental, para que não seja necessário utilizar o que foi aprendido no treinamento. Safety is about people, regardless of industry and hazard rating. If an ENTIRE team doesn't grasp safety protocols, as this question implies, there is a safety SYSTEM issue, which is a separate concern and question to discuss. However, if individual members don't understand safety protocols, that's more on me than them. Because people learn differently, getting to know the person behind the position is, for me, necessary to really understand the what, why, when, who and how of their workday. Not only do members understand their safety role but it's been my experience that we ultimately work together to build a safer work environment for all.
