One thing which is often neglected is to identify the right environment to be promoted for creating and securing innovative ventures as these can appear in the form of entrepreneurship or a project initiated by peoples working together at a firm department. These two forms of innovations require different supports. Innovations within a robust firm can benefit from the organization' s resources whereas innovative projects within the context of entrepreneurship would require more societal support. Moreover, more creative employees would need to be valued by the firms managers.

I disagree that diversity has any ability to diminish innovation. Being around people who are different from us makes us more creative, more diligent and more productive, something that is backed up by the Scientific American article, "How diversity makes us smarter". It makes absolute sense that being exposed to different cultural viewpoints and life experiences can only widen our horizons and lead to better outcomes. Furthermore, a 2018 Boston Consulting Group (BCG) study found that companies with above average diversity on their management teams reported innovation revenue that was 19% higher than that of companies with below average leadership diversity, 45% of total revenue versus just 26%.

Ethics is the moral principles and values that guide the decisions and actions of innovation and entrepreneurship. It includes the ethical considerations and dilemmas that arise from the creation, dissemination, and use of new products, services, and business models that affect the well-being of individuals, communities, societies, and the planet. The role of education Innovation is a long game that rests upon the way we educate and promote learning in our societies. It is worthwhile to question what is the approach our education system takes: (i) a "what does the economy need, and therefore what can I teach my 3 year old now to give her a headstart as an economic agent?" approach, or (ii) a "what does my 3 year old need at this stage in her development for her to become her best, most creative self as a human being?" approach? Our educational institutions are key in shaping the future innovation potential of our economies. In fact, if we get the former right, the latter will take care of itself.
