Implement tools like Zoom or Google Meet for face-to-face meetings, especially for creative discussions or urgent matters. Have a designated person on set who compiles a daily report, including updates on progress, challenges, and any changes to the schedule. Schedule regular check-ins between key on-set and office personnel to discuss progress, address issues, and align on upcoming plans. Ensure that everyone has access to up-to-date contact information for key personnel, including emergency contacts. Maintain a physical production board on set with the daily schedule, important contact information, and key updates.

Daily stand up meetings have been very effective for me in my career as of late. It allows team to hash out anything from the day before and also prepare for the days. This eliminates issues quickly and allows the team members to pivot on new items that may arise in production.
