Empowering others will have a huge impact when done correctly. One thing to remember is to make sure you, the other party, or the team are on the same page. Giving out a directive and leaving them to work on their own is not empowerment. Sitting down, aligning goals and actions, giving clear expectations and allowing the other person to take the lead on how they want to complete the task is essential. Empowerment and accountability go hand in hand.

Situational leadership is the key to facilitate the process. During the Storming phase, every teammate understands the competencies & a set of norms develops defining the roles and responsibilities with better collaborative communication & least conflicts.Teams start performing and the early taste of success motivates them to continue to leverage the team potential with enhanced collaboration, which usually continues after the training till the adjoining stage
