When I was a new volunteer, I sought out individuals who had been actively involved with the organization for several years and demonstrated strong leadership and commitment. I would then approach one experienced volunteer who had a reputation for effectively mentoring newcomers. It is very important to have a great mentor when you are engaging in volunteering activities. When I started volunteering for activities related to wetland conservation at a local NGO simply by reaching out to the leader of the organisation not only was I able to connect with a great scientist who had a thorough knowledge about scientific aspects of wetland ecosystems but also was able to connect me with other people who had the same interest in conservation of wetlands. This eventually grew my interest in wetlands and I gained a lot of knowledge related to subject matter in environmental science as well as project management from my mentor, as I was assigned to complete a project related to wetland awareness and waste management

We use to have weekly meetups to discuss about the role and how we can make necessary improvements and to make fellows to be pro active and always keep them engaging. I write minutes of every minutes we had weekly and that's will be the task for the whole week which will set necessary objective and fulfillment of the initiative.

I work as a volunteer with valuegate and they pay some token for me to learn new skills part of which are product management, organizational management and Data Analytics skills which helped me to analyze the company data efficiently and make possible predictions for the company. And I am so much excited for I add and I am still adding value to the company with the new skills I learned.
