Anticipating (not just mapping) each stakeholderâs - strengths - potential weaknesses - differing personal values - personal agendas - potential value / or perceived value to the stakeholder group - âconcernsâ and - most importantly, their ability and willingness to derail the groupâs activity. 2. Mitigation Proactively identifying scenarios (through different stakeholdersâ lens) as well as working up potential solutions and mitigations IN ADVANCE and then continually testing and modifying, as necessary, to get the required results.

This communication begins early so relationships can be established, allowing for effective stakeholder management later on.
