When guiding a client through a tough life transition, it’s crucial to help them navigate their conflicting emotions with empathy and clarity. Start by encouraging them to express all of their feelings, both positive and negative, without judgment. For example, ask questions like, "What are the emotions you're feeling right now?" or "How does each of these emotions affect your decision-making?" Acknowledge the complexity of their situation and validate their experiences. By helping them break down and process their emotions, you enable them to make more balanced decisions and move forward with confidence.

Easy: it's all part of the process. It' all about growing up. To grow does not mean to be painless, or enoyable. Nothing is grown from success. Everything grows from failures, pain, mistakes. There will be super a-ha moments of pure joy, success, achievement and I will be there to share and congratulate, and there will be also pain, difficult moments, depression, anxiety. It's called life. It's called coaching. It's called growing.

One road is to show empathy and understanding to the fact that we are human and we can feel multiple emotions about a single situation. That is okay, enable the client to let these emotions flow through them to help prevent any type of guilt or shame for feeling one emotion over another.
