From personal experience in order to keep a balance between speed and quality in audio/video production a meticulous planning and efficient processes are absolutely crucial. Me and my team create a detailed timeline that outlines each step to prevent last-minute rushes. It helps to have high-quality, dependable microphones/camera & editing software to capture & process sound/video effectively. During recording, it is crucial to monitor audio levels & clarity to catch issues, reducing the need for extensive ADR or redhoots. Often over 90% of the quality & speed of our work is how well prepared we executed the pre-production for a smooth hustle free production. Keep pushing forward. Keep learning. Keep evolving. Onwards & Upwards ð¯ð

Hire a top notch audio engineer who knows their craft, has the proper gear, and knows the potential obstacles you may face during the shoot, edit... etc.

Audio quality isnât often taken as seriously as it should be. Thereâre people whoâve dedicated their lives to it & they have all the proper kit. So if you want stand-out sound, bring in a specialist. A camera op may be able to grab some audio but itâll only ever be ok & the visual may suffer for it. You need a pair of ears dedicated to it.. + in post, donât skimp on the mix, itâs the difference between professional & amateur, watchable & captivating. This can all be achieved on a tight deadline, in fact the whole thingâs just easier because youâll be provided with near-perfect files from the outset whichâll save loads of time cleaning up the crap / using plugins in post. There are entire professions dedicated to it.. for very good reason.
