Stay Organized: Prepare as much as possible beforehand. Have your gear ready, and know your shot list. This will help you move efficiently. Clear Communication: Keep an open line of communication with your clients. Let them know what youâre doing, and provide updates on timelines. This can help manage their expectations. Prioritize Tasks: Focus on the most critical shots first. If time is limited, ensure you capture the essentials before moving on to less crucial elements. Breathe and Stay Grounded: Take a moment to breathe deeply if you start feeling overwhelmed. It helps to center yourself and approach challenges with a clear mind.

Being rushed was common when I did "unlimited shots for $200 per hour" sessions. Usually with large extended family groups. They'd want to cram ALL the different groupings into one hour (of course). My way of handling it was to make THEM responsible for pre-planning the groupings and what order they'd go in and then being organized enough to pull it off. I'd be set up and ready to shoot, it was up to them to get the people in front of the camera (I'd do the posing). It usually didn't take them long to figure out that they were trying to herd cats and then decide to just pay for an extra hour, if needed. And they NEVER blamed me, because they experienced first-hand that doing it all in one hour was attempting the impossible. LOL!
