The leader must consider whether the employee has the skills, but mainly whether the employee wants to perform the position that is being assigned to him/her; in many cases, employees' poor performance is not their responsibility but rather the foolishness of leaders who force them to occupy roles for which they do not have the minimum indispensable skills and where the leaders' response is: "You can do it, try hard."

Initially, I would opt for informal, one-on-one conversations with each manager outside of the office to create a relaxed and open atmosphere for dialogue. If these initial conversations prove fruitful and the conflict can be resolved amicably, a follow-up meeting involving all parties could help solidify the resolution and rebuild trust. However, if the situation escalates or remains unresolved, it becomes imperative to escalate the matter to HR or higher management for formal intervention. The ultimate goal is to create a harmonious work environment and ensure the smooth operation of the team.
