"On the go" feedback is the best way to learn your areas for improvement. You can immediatly act upon it without wondering what went wrong and how can I do better. Remember however that a view from one person can be totally different than from others. Therefore it is crucial to gather various perspectives and only then formulate next steps on your end. Back in a day I was super annoyed by beautifying the presentation with catchy pictures, aligning fonts and position of visuals etc. I used to think that such a step should go last. In fact I was proved to be wrong - having a solid effort gives you a great kick to continuously evolve your deck as you go and master it in the final touch.
