Change will always be met with resistance. Having a good starting point for your reasoning will lead to a sense of engagement in the eyes of the team. I will share a lesson learned from implemented administrative protocols: "Administration should be customized according to the care that is delivered, not vice versa." Although registration is highly important, for the sake of data analysis, efficiency etc. The core tasks of healthcare professionals is not to be busy with registration and administration, it is delivering the highest quality care. Keep that as a starting point, and transparent communication and team involvement will follow accordingly.
