It depends on the event, some events require technology to be working well. I think most of the typical points have been covered, however I would add that just having a back up plan is not enough. You will need to practice a switch over with the team to make sure in the event somthing happens midway, everyone will know what to do, this will make the switch almost seamless and avoid any confusion that may arise from the situation.

Nothing is impossible , just need some patience and need to work on it,use new technologies and test every stage. As mentioned even having backup material ,test equipment in advance and prepare for internet outages also are helpfull to prepare for major technical failure .

To prepare for potential technical failures during a crucial presentation, consider these strategies: 1. Backup Materials: Print copies of slides and key points. 2. Test Equipment: Arrive early to check all tech components. 3. Redundant Technology: Bring a second device with your presentation. 4. Simplified Visuals: Create clear slides that can be conveyed verbally if necessary. 5. Engage the Audience: Prepare for interactive Q&A to maintain engagement. 6. Detailed Action Plan: Use a troubleshooting guide for common tech issues. 7. Backup Power: Bring portable chargers and extension cords. 8. Calm Mindset: Maintain a positive attitude and confidence throughout.

Stay calm, professional and above all positive. We all have been in the industry long enough to know things happen sometime within but mostly outwith our control. Keeping a positive mindset filters out to others and can allow your workforce to come up with positive solutions that may not have been thought of previously.
