A bit eccentric but I've worked in the past with AI rendering pipelines within Blender and RunwayML. This allowed me to render grayscale viewports only, later passing them through those pipelines for a faster result. Now of course the quality may not be the best and I wouldn't recommend this sort of workflow for public-facing projects but it's a great shortcut for producing early-mid concepts and drafts.
