I have a goal to create a collaborative collection development process that will allow participating libraries to have a more robust and regularly updated Manga collection. Manga series are often both expansive (Naruto has 72 currently, for example) and expensive (for older copies, issues not released in the US, and also the sheer number of ones that get damaged because they're paperbacks and/or go missing because they are so beloved by their readers). Ideally, we'd be able to split up series so that we can guarantee that our libraries have the most titles to offer our patrons.
