I set my tasks and actions in a matrix similar to that of the Stakeholder Analysis. Important on one axis and urgent on the other. High importance and high urgency gives a total score of high priority. I then have clear blocked out times in the diary each week to work on tasks. Working down the list. I then re-assess the list at the start of every week. As some tasks will move in urgency and importance depending upon circumstances.
