Academic quality and standards, if you wish to be taken seriously, should be based on national and international academic standards. If you are a public institutions, often, you do not have the choice. If you are a private one, you may. But should you wish to offer a quatitative program, you must be able to compete with the best schools and universities, content and method-wise.

As an experienced educator in global programs, I've discovered a useful tip. It's important to use simple language in the curriculum, especially since many students are not native speakers of the widely spoken languages (as English and German) in which studying is usually organized. Simplifying word structures and avoiding lengthy sentences can greatly enhance comprehension. In global and international programs, it's crucial that the curriculum is easily understood, particularly in the student grading section. It's essential to explain clearly how assignments will be evaluated and how final grades will be calculated. If students can't understand the grading system, this can lead to frustration and hinder their ability to learn effectively.

I feel when designing a course curriculum, planning the overall visual design, look, and feel is as important as the content — especially when developing e-learning content. Educational content can be fun and engaging, even when talking about complex topics. In fact, I find it easier to understand a concept when fully engaged with it.

One important thing i consider in designing for a curriculum is to put importance in computer education and place it as one of the general education subjects. Consider it as the basic component for all the courses, because it is a must skill one should have in today's highly competitive society. A person with limited knowledge in technology will be left behind anywhere in the industry. Another important aspect that one should include in the curriculum development is business education because no matter what and where, everyone is always involve in business whether you are an employee or an employer, a stakeholder, etc. business is part of our existence and should be learned as a basic and as early as possible.

Being inclusive can be meaningfully realised by e.g., intentionally including indigenous knowledge/perspectives in the course/program curricula.

I have taught in several CEMS courses on #sustainability and #marketing to European students as well as students in Ireland, Peru and Japan. I ask for a brief bio which helps me to customize my delivery. Second, I bring in interviews of managers from the students' countries and we discuss them in class. Third, I pick a country not present in my class and ask groups to solve a problem in that country using their native experience. This promotes global peer learning. All these take time and I love to orchestrate such teaching.

Group work in class and outside is usually effective as a learning tool, in a global setting and otherwise. I was once using a case set in Germany and the U.S. where I happened to have one student from Germany (visiting India at the time). The assignment took on a new flavor due to his group's presentation. But generally speaking, diversity itself produces better results in all group activities. Only, additional inputs may be needed in the form of briefing or hand-holding if the students are from a different milieu and unfamiliar with the pedagogy.

One time in my teaching experience, i cited an example of a psychological application into a real setting using an experience i had encountered in another country and gave my own reflections and comments in that particular scenario, when suddenly a foreign student sitting in the physical class stood up and walked away because he thought i was biased in my opinion as to their culture. He slammed the door and showed misconduct of behavior. Disciplinary action was given afterwards. One thing i learned from that experience is that we need to be very aware of the cultural differences in our pedagogy. From then on, i became extremely careful of using real life experience and innovate better strategies for discussions.

In my experience as an educator aside from being a CAO, i learned that it is good to expose the learners to classroom chaos because by doing it, they will develop resiliency, patience and self-control in the outside world. It's good to prepare them to a chaotic and highly competitive market so they would learn to develop a good problem-solving skill if during their learning time they would already be exposed in that kind of scenario.
