A/B testing is primarily used in optimizing funnels, ads and UX. Frankly it is a terrible idea to A/B test code. This creates fractal test problems where some A/B tests are invalidated by others, or cross-cutting schedule conflicts. CI/CD has robust concepts for - Acceptance tests - Integration tests - Functional tests - Unit tests Do not under any circumstances A/B test code deployment unless you are specifically making a CI/CD product for developers. To A/B test code instead of features is essentially saying your team had no idea what to code. Sorry to point it out harshly but this is a very poorly considered article which places jargon above utility.
