5 Train and educate your staff

The fifth step is to train and educate your staff on the importance and implementation of COMSEC measures. You should provide your staff with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to protect the information they transmit or receive. You should also raise their awareness of the potential consequences of COMSEC breaches or violations for your organization and its stakeholders. 6 Collaborate with your partners

The sixth step is to collaborate with your partners, such as customers, suppliers, contractors, or allies, who share or exchange information with you. You should establish and maintain trust and communication with your partners and ensure that they adhere to the same or compatible COMSEC standards and protocols as you. You should also coordinate and harmonize your COMSEC measures with your partners and resolve any conflicts or discrepancies. You should also share best practices and lessons learned with your partners and seek their feedback and input on your COMSEC measures.
