In my suit against the State of Iowa and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Polk County case CVCV046761, I tried to get the Iowa DNR to alter their Chlorination Protocol. Since the DNR refused to inform us, our wells were testing over the MCL at 12.2 mg/L for Ammonia Nitrogen as N that indicates the level of Anhydrous Ammonia and the IDNR was telling us in Cedar (W) Township's Designated National Wetland Aquifer Recharge Area to shock chlorinate (dump gallons of bleach down into our source water) when the area sinkholes were taking on run-off from 50,000 row crop acres. Anhydrous Ammonia and Bleach or Chlorine does not mix well and those Downstream users of our Cedar Valley Group Aquifer's water were getting burnt in our showers.
