Crystal clear communication is the start of building trust. As a Project Coordinator you find yourself usually in the middle of the Project Managements Organisational Chart. You have to make sure to pass on the Project requirements as per written Contract as well as verbally released by your superiors to guide Contractors accordingly. A safe work environment should always be a Projects common goal and a good start to a Safety culture. In accordance with the Quality aspects of any Project a brilliant and easy to understand combination within the entire Project Team! Treat people the way you want to be treated and you will keep your integrity and being trustworthy.

Networking is a skill that is required in every sector, it can be learnt with time and can be polished over time. As a project coordinator, it is required to stay grounded, remain humble and be honest with your work. Once you build a good rapport in the field your network grows. If you are not empathetic, it decreases your value. It is required to view the aspects from others shoes. Value perspective of others is the key. When you listen to others carefully it creates a value, it is a myth that networking requires lots of talking. Networking can be a silent skill. One important point which I am writing at last is the importance of communication skills (Verbal and Non Verbal) is the key.

Transparency is key in building trust with your team. Additionally trusting that your team members can do the work shows them that you trust them.

Building trust is one of the key aspects of project success, In my opinion, team cohesion and collaboration are improved when we create a trustful environment. Transparency shall be part of the journey and as the Project Coordinator you need to make sure that all opinions are considered within the project team.

Trust is a tough thing to build, easy to lose, and nearly impossible to regain once lost. One of the best pieces of advice I ever got to motivate the loss of trust was to set a calendar reminder at the halfway mark to the deadline to stop and evaluate if that deadline is feasible. If it's not, tell the person requesting the project then and there. It is far better to alert them as far in advance as possible to give time to adjust expectations or go a different route. Realizing you're not going to make it the week or day before hurts everyone, your credibility, and the options for alternatives.

I've learned many things from co-workers, but I learned even more from strangers online. You will never find someone whose content you agree with 100% of the time, but hearing things you don't agree with also helps you understand other people's thought processes.

Mais vigilance, pour ce faire, soigner son image et parfaire son discours sont des indispensables, et cela nécessite un travail conséquent et un remarquable relationnel.

One thing I found interesting to know : attending the event and contributing in your own technical experts ideas as part of the community. Any event can be the place to share your organization plans and to show willingness to coordinate and cooperate.

Le bénévolat est une pratique tres louable. De nos jours, dans nos milieux, le bénévolat est effectif. C'est vraiment une opportunité de mettre son temps au profit des autres de facon gratuite. En exemple, dans les associations, souvent les membres sont des bénévoles. Personnellement, j'ai ete benevole dans une mutuelle d'épargne et de credit pendant plusieurs annees. J'y ai utilise mes competences, mon experience pour le dévéloppement de la mutuelle. Egalément, j'ai ete un bénévole dans une association pour la promotion de la paix et la cohesion sociale. Ce fut deux experiences riches en apprentissage. Je conclus par ceci: on a toujours quelque chose à apporter!

In the process, you enhance your project coordination and people skills, and your professional satisfaction increases. It is a win-win. I have volunteered for over 20 years. In those volunteering roles, I have found my voice, strength, passion, and greatest lessons and connections throughout my professional and personal journey.

Personalised follow ups is an effective way of maintaining the relationships between the Beneficiaries and the project coordinator. This will assist the coordinator assess the sustainability and productivity of the project. The community involved will also feel obliged to further share their experiences of the project which will assist in monitoring and evaluation.

Al igual que cualquier trabajo conocer el ecosistema de las ONG´s y quienes la conforman es un primer paso, identificar sus objetivos, alcance geográfico y el tipo de proyectos que implementan te permitirá tener un entendimiento claro de como y con quien lograr acercamientos para futuras negociaciones o relaciones conjuntas. Las organizaciones sin fines de lucro necesitan trabajar con aliados y con otras organizaciones para lograr sus metas y resultados, por lo que en su gran mayoría estarán abiertos a colaborar con actividades o información para lograr objetivos comunes.
