Often times leaders focus too much on the organization or company's ethos, mandate and identity which can lead employees to feel like a cog in a machine. While it is important to foster team spirit and a strong overarching company identity, it is important to value, recognize and celebrate each person's experience, insights and unique background. Making sure that there are ways of expressing opinions and suggestions are important, so tools such as Trello and MS Teams can come in handy. During team meetings, peer-to-peer suggestions can be utilized whereby colleagues nominate a peer they think most fit/qualified to evaluate a project, output, feature, etc. This will bring people's expertise and unique insights to the table, literally!
